RUHİ MÜCERRET - Murat Menteş

RUHİ MÜCERRET

The latest rollercoaster, whirlwind-ride of a novel from the author of cult hits Dublörün Dilemması (The Double’s Dilemma) and Korkma Ben Varım (No Fear, I’m Here).

Just how did the last living veteran of the Turkish War of Independence, national hero Ruhi Mücerret, become an international star?
Will he be able to vanquish the mysterious psychopath Masum Cici before the Grim Reaper gets to him first?
What else will he learn from spiritual philosopher Avni Vav?
How will he declare his love of Nazlı Hilal, that coquettish crescent, despite the 70 year age difference between them?
Why is the drifter Civan Casanova, with his one blue and one brown eye, selling his second-hand soul to the devel?
What will he do, unable to forget his beloved Serpil Silahlıperi, whom he lost in an earthquake?
To which trap will he fall prey while trying to escape the talented bombshell Fujer Fuji?
How will he find the money to pay for treatment for his nephew, who is suffering from leukemia?
Who will be toppled by another whilst standing on the threshold of suicide?
In this adventure, which is packed with laughter and a few teardrops, trains collide with ships.
The War of Independence continues, 85 years later.
Drills bore into foreheads.
Planes crash.
Losers become champions.
The dead rise again.
Stray bullets whiz through the air.
And advertisements seize customers!
